Nizamabad: BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy took a dig at Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for creating a rift between the people with his provocative statements.

"We are fighting for the bifurcation of the State, but not for the division between the people. However, the Chief Minister was dividing the people, which was unfair, as after the division two States would be formed, but the people would remain united. A case should be filed against the Chief Minister for giving inflammatory speeches. Kiran Kumar Reddy is a sealed cover Chief Minister appointed by AICC President Sonia Gandhi. But why Sonia Gandhi was keeping mum and not sacking him from the Chief Minister’s post when he launched a tirade against high command," he questioned.

Union Minister for Textiles Kavuri Sambasiva Rao and Union Minister of State for Tourism K Chiranjeevi are urging the Centre to make Hyderabad a Union Territory, but the people of Telangana will not keep mum if the UPA government keeps any condition on the Hyderabad, he warned. Of late, the Seemandhra media was creating confusion among the people on Article 371 D and Article 3, he said. From BJP worker to top leader everybody in the party is committed to Telangana whereas the Congress MPs and MLAs are not united and giving contradictory statements on the Telangana issue, he pointed out. If the Congress leaders continue like this the party would be routed in the ensuing polls, he predicted.

Minister Sridharbabu and some other leaders are chanting Telangana mantra now for their survival, he said. Nizmabad MLA Yendala Lakshminarayana said that the Congress party cannot grant statehood to Telangana sans the support of BJP, he opined.

Mr Janardhan Reddy exuded confidence that Bill on Telangana would be passed with the support of BJP.

He was speaking at the Nizamabad rural BJP workers meeting.

The formation of Telangana State is a foregone conclusion and the BJP would play a vital role in the reconstruction of Telangana, he said. The BJP would come to power at the Centre as the youth were suppoting the leadership of Narendra Modi, he predicted.
