Kiran May Reveal his Mind Today, Pulichintala Occasion, Pulichintala Project. Kiran Kumar Reddy has been using every opportunity to speak against the division of the State. Through a series of public speeches.
- Speculation rife that he’ll hint at his political agenda
- All set to use Pulichintala occasion for political ends
Vijayawada: Is Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy set to unveil his political agenda while dedicating the prestigious Pulichintala Project on Saturday? This is the hottest question doing the rounds in the district as the Chief Minister is also scheduled to address a public meeting in the city.
Kiran Kumar Reddy has been using every opportunity to speak against the division of the State. Through a series of public speeches, he has emerged as a champion of the Samaikyandhra. He has not left Rachabanda programme or any such event, where he could address gatherings, to drive home his demand to keep the State united.
Interestingly, at the Rachabanda programme held at Chillakallu near Jaggaiahpet in Krishna district on November 17, he told people that he would come back to them and seek their support when it was really needed to keep the State united. Local MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, who has been rallying behind the Chief Minister and projecting him as the champion or star batsman for Samaikyandhra, has already given enough indications of going against the Congress leadership to keep the State united. He had already dared the Congress leadership to get the T bill passed in Parliament, claiming that his camp had ‘Brahmastram’ to foil any such bid.
There are already rumors of Kiran Kumar Reddy launching a new political outfit to face the 2014 elections. Both Lagadapati and his Guntur counterpart, Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, indicated time and again in the past about such a possibility if the division of the State was inevitable. It is in this context that Kiran’s new party prospects gain importance.
At one stage, the Congress leaders led by Kiran Kumar reportedly tried to rope in APNGOs leader P Ashok Babu into the new party. Though the whole idea of new party is brushed aside as a speculation, a wide debate is still taking place on the issue.
