KCR should keep his word on merger, says Madhu Yashki

Nizamabad: TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao should keep his word on merging his party with the Congress, said MP Madhu Yashki. He recalled that the KCR had said that his party would keep up its word of merging with the Congress if the Telangana State is formed.

He advised the Seemandhra leaders not to rake up the issue in order to raise the tempers of the people with an eye on vote bank. The Congress activists gave a rousing reception to MP Madhu Yashki upon his arrival here on Saturday. Earlier, he offered pujas at Saibaba temple and took part in a massive rally which was taken out to the DCC office from temple.

Later, speaking to the media, he said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy's move to scuttle the process of Telangana formation would prove futile. The people of Telangana will be always thankful to AICC President Sonia Gandhi for keeping her word on bifurcation.

He alleged that N Chandrababu Naidu was playing games in the name of equal justice, while Jaganmohan Reddy, who amassed crores of rupees through dubious means was hatching a conspiracy to stop the division of the State. The people in Telangana would teach Babu and Jagan a befitting lesson, he predicted.

The Telangana Bill would be introduced in parliament in winter session, and if necessary the session would be extended, he said. He recalled that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh already spoke to BJP leader Susham Swaraj and other UPA allies in this regard.
