Adilabad records lowest minimum temperature of eight degrees Celsius

Hyderabad: The Met Department on Sunday forecast that a severe cyclonic storm ‘Madi’ lay centered over the southwest Bay of Bengal, 490 km south-east of Chennai, will intensify further into a very severe cyclonic storm during the next 12 hours and move north-westwards very slowly.

Under its influence, rain or thundershowers will occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra. Mainly dry weather will prevail in Telangana and Rayalaseema. There will be no large change in the weather outlook during the subsequent two days.

On Saturday isolated rain occurred in south Coastal Andhra. Weather was dry in north Coastal Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema. The minimum temperatures appreciably rose at a few places in Rayalaseema and changed little in Telangana, but rose at one or two places in Coastal Andhra.

The lowest minimum temperature of 8 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad.

Forecast for Hyderabad and its neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 10: Sky will be mainly clear. Fog/mist will occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 28 and 12 degrees Celsius respectively.
