Speaking at a meeting organised by Telugu Yuvatha and TNSF (TDP students wing), Lokesh who was here to attend party leader G Mahadeva Naidu son's marriage said that the credit for Hyderabad's phenomenal growth goes solely to TDP and its Presidnet, N Chandrababu Naidu.
He said it was during the TDP regime that Hyderabad became an international household name and popular destination for software, pharma and other industries. He decried that the inept administration of the Congress governments was resulting in all problems with ventures like FAB City and Lepakshi Knowledge Centre only benefitted select individuals, who paid kickbacks.
Bring back TDP to power, Lokesh exhorts youth
He exhorted the youth to take cue from the revolts against corruption and misrules in countries like Egypt, which were spearheaded by disgruntled youth. ``I will join you not as a leader but an ordinary worker in the struggle against corruption'' he said seeking the youth not to rest till the corrupt were chased away.
He called for bringing back the TDP to put an end to all their woes. He cautioned the youth against supporting the caste and communal parties and wanted them to ask the YSRCP why their leader was in jail for 16 months.
Taking a strong exception to YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy oft repeated remarks of Congress-TDP collision, he said TDP was floated to fight Congress. On the Congress party' rout in the Assembly elections in four States, he said that in 2014 the party will be swept away from all States, including Andhra Pradesh.
