Hyderabad: The Telangana JAC on Wednesday appealed to all elected representatives of all political parties to speak in a common voice when the draft bill would come up for discussion in the Assembly.
JAC also resolved to circulate copies highlighting amendments needed in the draft to protect rights of people of the region to all MLAs in the State. In addition, TJAC along with representatives of State political parties would undertake the same exercise in New Delhi to garner the support of national and regional parties.

The extended steering committee meeting of the TJAC was held on Wednesday. Although the meeting was held from 11 till 5.45 pm, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao took part towards the end. Elaborating details, TJAC chief Prof Kodandaram said that final touches were being given to the note containing amendments.
This would be in a tabular form consisting of Centre’s recommendations, modifications that needed to be made and specific reasons for it.
These copies would be given to all MLAs from the region in the coming days, he added. Meets TDP leaders Meanwhile, Kodandaram called on Telangana TDP Forum convenor E Dayaker Rao and Mothkupalli Narsimhulu on Wednesday evening to ensure that TDP MLAs from T region speak in a single tone in Assembly.
