With a view to reach out to the maximum number of voters, the office of the Chief Election Officer (CEO) of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday developed an android application to help voters check their details and polling stations through their mobiles.

Hyderabad: With a view to reach out to the maximum number of voters, the office of the Chief Election Officer (CEO) of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday developed an android application to help voters check their details and polling stations through their mobiles.According to CEO Bhanwar Lal all that voters need to do is to send their voter ID card number through SMS to the mobile application. He informed that the new mobile application can be downloaded to android application fromwww.ceoandhra.nic.in web site and can installed on any smartphones with Android Operating System.
With this, people can check their names in the voter list. He also informed that the last date for submission of applications for voter registration and corrections is December 17, 2013.
