The YSR Congress Party has resolved to continue its fight for united Andhra in the week-long winter session of the State Assembly by moving adjournment motion on day one of the Assembly that begins on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The YSR Congress Party has resolved to continue its fight for united Andhra in the week-long winter session of the State Assembly by moving adjournment motion on day one of the Assembly that begins on Thursday.
Party honorary president Y S Vijayamma held YSRLP meeting with all the MLAs of the party here on Wednesday to chalk out an action plan in support of united Andhra and the party’s strategy in the house.
Addressing the press after the meeting, party MLA B Karunakara Reddy said his party would move the adjournment motion, demanding that the government adopt a resolution in support of united Andhra on the first day of the session.
If the government rejects it, the YSR party would move a private bill in favour of Samaikyandhra the next day. Other important issues like Brijesh Kumar Tribunal verdict on Krishna waters, power tariff hike and cyclones in coastal Andhra would be raised in the session, the YSRCP leader informed.
