Telangana Bill: TDP Semandhra Leaders Urge President To Recall T-Bill, Pranab Mukherjee. The Seemandhra TDP leaders called on the President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday and urged him to recall the T-bill that has been sent to Andhra Pradesh state assembly.
Hyderabad: The Seemandhra TDP leaders called on the President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday and urged him to recall the T-bill that has been sent to Andhra Pradesh state assembly.The TDP leaders alleged that the Union government had opted an unethical means to bifurcate the state of Andhra Pradesh and urged the president for his intervention. TDP Seemandhra leaders addressed the media after they called on the president at Rashrapathi Nilayam at Bollaram in Secunderabad.
From the other side, leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) also called on the president and requested him to ensure that the process for formation of the separate state is hastened up. Member of Parliament of Peddapalli constituency, G. Vivek said the president told them that the constitutional process was being followed in the matter.
Later, the TRS leaders addressed the media and said the Chief Minister and leaders of Seemandhra region have been creating hurdles for T-bill in the state assembly. But, said the TRS leaders, nothing can stop the formation of Telangana.
