JC receives show cause notice

Hyderabad: While the Congress leaders have been stating for quite some time that Congress high command had sent a show cause notice to JC Diwakar , it was only on Wednesday that the Senior Congress leader made clear that he had received a show cause notice.

Speaking to the media persons, he said the party leadership has given him one week time to reply. It may be recalled that Reddy had been making several comments against the AICC chief Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi. The State PCC had referred the matter to the disciplinary committee. After going through the material evidence, the committee felt that it could not recommend any action since Diwakar Reddy was a member of the AICC. Following this, the PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana referred the matter to the AICC, which has now issued a show cause notice to him.
