VH: Nobody can stop Telangana, Indiramma Ratha Yatra. He also flayed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his anti-Telangana stand.

Adilabad: Rajya Sabha member V Hanumantha Rao has reiterated that separate Telangana would be carved out at the earliest at any cost. Though the Seemandhra leaders have been making efforts to delay the returning of AP Reorganisation Bill to the President, it would not hamper the process of separate State, he said.

As part of the second day of Indiramma Ratha Yatra in the district, he toured Utnoor and other places in Adilabad district on Wednesday. He expressed his happiness for good response from the people for his tour. ``The people of Telangana have the responsibility to express their thanks to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi for sanctioning separate State. They should support Congress in the forthcoming polls,’’ he said.

The decision to bifurcate AP was taken by the Centre after consulting various parties including TDP and YSRCP. After giving their opinion in support of Telangana, the two parties took a U-turn and are trying to stall the process, the MP said.

He also flayed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his anti-Telangana stand. It was the UPA chairperson who had made him as Chief Minister and now he is acting against the wishes of the party high-command, Mr Hanumantha Rao said. Mr Rao also flayed the Chief Minister for taking away the portfolio of Legislature Affairs from Minister Sridhar Babu. DCC president D Ramachandra Reddy, District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) chairman Damodar Reddy, District Cooperative Marketing Society (DCMS) chairman Narayana Reddy, party’s state secretary Dr Naresh Jadav and other leaders were present.
