Nizam college students burn CM Kiran's effigy

Students of Nizam College burnt effigy of Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to protest against the Telangana Bill rejection in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

Raising slogans of 'CM down down', they set fire to an effigy of Kiran Kumar Reddy near Nizam college int he city. Later, they tried to barge into the Assembly. Police foiled their attempt and took into custody some students.

Meanwhile, Telangana Congress leaders raised slogans of 'Jai Telangana', hugged each other, distributed sweets saying the debate on the Telangana Bill was completed.

They expressed happiness saying Telangana state will be carved out in a few days. Celebrating the occasion, minister Ponnala shared sweets with Seemandhra MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy.
