Addressing the National Council meeting attended by Aam Aadmi Party volunteers from across the country, Kejriwal accused several union ministers including BJP Prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi of being corrupt.
He also announced that his party would field candidates against them. “Our motto is not to get the power, but our motto is no corrupt leader should enter the Parliament. I have started the list. By evening, you (party workers) prepare a list and submit it the party,” he addressed the cheering gathering.
He also slammed Modi and Rahul for spending over “Rs 500 crore on branding” and image-building exercises.
Reading out the names, Kejiriwal said union Ministers Shinde, Chidambaram, Kapil Sibal, G K Vasan, Salman Khurshid, Veerappa Moily, Prakash Jaiswal, Kamal Nath, Pawan Bansal, as well as MPs Naveen Jindal, Avtar Singh Bhadana, Anu Tandon, Suresh Kalmadi and Assam CM Tarun Gogoi should be defeated in the coming elections.
