Hyderabad: Just 2 days after the Choppadandi SBI bank robbery, at Araku another robbery has taken place from its ATM. The miscreants involved in the case have destroyed the ATM to steal money from it. The police rushed the spot on receiving information. A case has been registered and the investigations are on.
It’s worth mentioning here that In a cine-style robbery, four persons snatched away Rs 46 lakh from State Bank of India’s Choppadandi mandal branch on Saturdaymorning, after threatening staff at gun-point. The daring incident occurred around 9 am before the bank opened for the day. As the watchman was busy cleaning, the four entered through the backdoor. They threatened branch manager, assistant manager, a cashier and a contract employee with guns. They called the watchman to come inside and switch on the generator. As he, they overpowered him and tied him up.
