Botsa Satyanarayana: Kiran Kumar Should Have Resigned Long Back. The state PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday said that the process of carving Telangana as a separate state was in its last phase.
Hyderabad: The state PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday said that the process of carving Telangana as a separate state was in its last phase. He said the resignation of the Chief Minister at this juncture would not have any impact on the formation of Telangana state.
He spoke in media chit-chat and said Kiran Kumar won’t get any acclaim by offering the resignation at this juncture. He opined that he could have quit six months before to achieve an impact.
Botsa said if he could have offered resignation just after CWC’s decision, there might have been a definite impact. Further, he said it was not fair to sideline his responsibilities just before the looming elections.
Botsa opined that Kiran Kumar won’t leave the congress party. He also opined that Telangana ministers should have attended the cabinet meeting on Monday. From the other end, Kiran Kumar Reddy called on the state governor ESL Narasimhan. Now news has been making rounds of his probable quitting.
