Ever since the merger of 8 districts of erstwhile Hyderabad district with Andhra state on November 1, 1956, nothing never happened as desired and directed. May be due to prejudices or due to the factuality, Telangana region has always felt domineered under the dictated leadership of leaders from rest of the state.

The agitation for separate state of Telangana has been a wish of most of the people of Telangana region. The agitation appeared many a times as if it was ceased completely. Nevertheless, the agitation was like the ignited coal covered with a layer of Yash.

So many provisions made either through an act or by law have been allegedly violated causing the agitations, repeatedly. Surely, normal people are not blame worthy in the entire episode. Initially, it was the Mulki Rules, which were not followed in letter and spirit, later it was the five point formula, eight point formula and the 610 GO that have been violated, palpably.

A revolution is nothing but a fundamental change in power or organizational structures that takes place in a relatively short period of time. Aristotle described two types of political revolution: First - complete change from one constitution to another, second- Modification of an existing constitution.

However, the Telangana agitation contradicts ibid definition as it took almost 58years to achieve statehood. People from three generations celebrated the occasion stating that “It is better late than never” on Telangana state getting realized.

Of course, it is true…better late than never….!!!
