On Thursday, one of the Telugu Desam Party MLAs, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao has resigned from Andhra Pradesh Assembly in protest against the passing of the Telangana Bill by Lok Sabha.
Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, constituent of Mylavaram seat sent his resignation letter through Fax to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Secretary, sources added.
In his letter, reportedly, Devineni has expressed despondency over the creation of Telangana state and the injustice being done to the Seemandhra districts, sources said
