Over dozen leaders lobby for CM's post, Damodara Raja Narasimha, CM's post, New CM. While, Botsa Satyanarayana, Anam Ramnarayan Redy, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Raghuveera Reddy and Chiranjeevi from Seemandhra region are lobbying for the CM Post.

Soon after they learnt that the Chief Minister's post was vacant in Andhra Pradesh, over a dozen Seemandhra and Telangana Congress leaders are said to be lobbying hard with the party High Command to clinch the CM's post. The leaders are strongly opposed to President's rule in AP.

According to a news channel, Damodara Raja Narasimha, Jai Pal Reddy, Jana Reddy , D Srinivas, Sarve Satyanarayana, Sridhar Babu and Marri Sasidhar Reddy from the Telangana region are in race for the Chief Minister post.

While, Botsa Satyanarayana, Anam Ramnarayan Redy, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana, Raghuveera Reddy and Chiranjeevi from Seemandhra region are lobbying for the CM Post. All they want is to be in the CM's chair at least for two months. Soon after CM Kiran's resignation Chiranjeevi and Raghuveera Reddy called a press meet to pledge their loyalty to their party saying they would not like to quit Congress party in times of crisis.

Many Telangana Congress leaders are of the view that they will not get CM's post after the Telangana state is formed as KCR's TRS party is likely to be merged with the Congress and the CM's post will be given to either KCR or Jaipal Reddy.

Seemandhra leaders feel that Congress' prospects of regaining power in the region are less and their dreams of CM's post will yield fruit. They are lobbying with the Congress High command for the CM's post at least for these two months.
