Andhra Pradesh BC Sangham president's letter

All the ages, BC leaders have oppressed and suppressed by all political parties though the state comprise with 57% of population in Andhra Pradesh. No leader from backward community got a chance to head the government. Today BCs and SCs want their leader to head who tells them that he or she knows the way out of the crisis and looking for reassurance from all societies. We want people to think that the development has been stagnate and neglected through out telangana region by the leaders of all political parties. They are responsible for the backwardness of telangana and seemandhra regions.

Particularly, in a democratic country like India the importance and inevitability of social justice should not be minimized. It is especially for the reason that social justice is one of the main problems of India. If you see in Andhra Pradesh, from the ages social justice for BC & SC has been minimized. Millions of people are still in want of social justice. Consequently, they are suffering in political, economic and intellectual spheres.

If you remember the words of Mahatma Gandhi ji, “I understand democracy as something that gives the weak the same chance as the strong. Democracy is an impossible thing until the power is shared by all”.

If you observe the present situation and self questioned, why the situation has come that the state has to be separated? You will be answered, this happened due to the backwardness of region and the self-respect among the people. Today, we are not addressing just telangana region but if you look the seemadhra region few districts are still most backward.

I ask people of backward community and other communities too think why we choose a leader who doesn’t detect our pain? Why we choose political party who doesn’t give us equal justice while sharing the power? This is the moment; we need unity among the people who have been neglected from ages by all political parties.

We also address the people who belong to forward community suffering with poverty. It’s time to create our future. You need to breathe deeply to deal the situation. History tells us that in times of crisis, people need visible leadership and a leader should be a solution for addressing our problems. I request all the political parties and leaders must value people, and add value to them, before expecting anything in return.
