The ministry took the decision just ahead of the announcement of election notification which is scheduled to be announced on Wednesday. This, according to ministry sources, will not have any effect on the conduct of General Elections in the united State. Once the Appointed Date comes into effect, both Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh will celebrate the formation day on June 2. In case of the three States of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand, that were carved out by the NDA government in the past, there was a gap of three months between the Notification Date and the Appointed Date. The same formula seems to have been followed in the case of Telangana as well.
