Mega Air Show: India Aviation-2014 Takes off Today. The fourth edition of India Aviation show would begin on Wednesday at the Begumpet Airport. The five-day show would focus on the theme ‘Enhancing Air Connectivity’.

250 exhibitors from 18 countries to participate

Hyderabad: The fourth edition of India Aviation show would begin on Wednesday at the Begumpet Airport. The five-day show would focus on the theme ‘Enhancing Air Connectivity’.

The event would have 18 aircrafts on display, including the world’s largest passenger airline - Airbus A380. London-based Mark Jefferies Air Shows have been roped in to perform aerobatics twice-a-day. 250 exhibitors from 18 countries would be participating in the event. Other attractions of the event include Air India’s 14th Dreamliner 787 plane, Embraer Executive Aircraft, French aircraft Dassault Falcon and Beechcraft. Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd would be displaying models of the advanced light helicopter (ALH, VIP version), multirole transport aircraft (MTA), Dornier and light utility helicopter (LUH).

The show would be open to business visitors for the first three days and to the public for the next two days.

Tickets are priced at Rs 300 for general visitors and Rs 700 for business visitors. It can be booked online on www.bookmyshow.com or at all the 18 branches of Axis Bank in the city.

The flagship event of the Indian aviation industry is jointly organised by the FICCI and the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
