Chiru: It’s either me or Pawan

Eluru: Congress Campaign Committee chairman K Chiranjeevi on Sunday asserted that it was for the fans to decide their option—either himself or brother Pawan Kalyan. At a media meet, he welcomed Pawan’s political entry. Chiru and said he felt happy when people mentioned ‘Pawan, Pawan’ at his meetings. The Congress star campaigner said ‘everyone’ should take to politics, as it would provide a platform to aspirants.’

Earlier, addressing the West Godavari district-leveI party meeting here, Chiranjeevi remarked that his future lay in the party and that admirers provide oxygen to him. He said the Congress would emerge victorious from ‘satyapariksha’ and that those seeking to blame it would face the music (‘musalla panduga’).

He resorted to rhetoric to draw attention of the gathering at the Merchant Chamber Hall, describing BJP as communal and the Telugu Desam as a party of ‘conspirators’. He accused TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu of trying for a poll tie-up with BJP for ‘kurchi’(power)
