RTC Bus Hits Car; 1 Killed. Early on Thursday near Kankipadu of Krishna district, an RTC bus hit a car killing one on the national highway No 9. In this incident, N. Laksmipathi (37) hailing from Hyderabad died on the spot, while four more passengers got severely injured.

According to sources, a car on its way to Machilipatnam from Vijayawada was hit head on by an RTC bus heading towards Vijayawada. The condition of a woman who sustained severe injuries has been critical, added sources. The victims have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case been booked and investigation are on.
