Pitani Satyanarayana joins TDP. Pitani Satyanarayana, the former minister in the state cabinet and vice president of Jai Samaikyandhra Party, joined Telugu Desam Party on Friday.

Hyderabad: Pitani Satyanarayana, the former minister in the state cabinet and vice president of Jai Samaikyandhra Party, joined Telugu Desam Party on Friday. He was invited into Telugu Desam Party by none other than the TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, by felicitating him with the party’s yellow scarf.


It is evident that two days before i.e. on Wednesday, Mandali Buddaprasad and Pinnamaneni Venkateshwara Rao, the former ministers in the state cabinet, have joined Telugu Desam Party in presence of the party president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Along with the duo, Poorna Veeraiah, the urban bank chairman of Gudivada, also joined TDP.

In the 2009 general elections, Mandali has contested from Avanigadda assembly constituency on Congress Party ticket and faced a defeat, while Pinnamaneni Venkateshwara Rao faced defeat after contesting from Gudivada constituency on Congress party ticket in the same elections.
