Guntur passenger partially cancelled

Hyderabad: The Guntur Passenger train (No 57623/57624) that shuttles between Kacheguda and Guntur has been partially cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday. The train was late by as many as 6 hours on both Monday and Tuesday. In view of this, the train 57624 which is supposed to arrive at Kacheguda has been restricted up to Kurnool on Wednesday. Similarly, the train 57623 which is supposed to depart from Kacheguda to Guntur on Thursday is scheduled from Kurnool to Guntur on Thursday. The process is adopted to regularise the train timings, added sources.

Many trains have run late on Tuesday for hours together. Krishna Express that leaves for Tirupati from Adilabad was late by more than 3 hours. The reason for the same is reportedly the ongoing repair work on the railway tracks in many routes.
