Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister-designate K Chandrasekhar Rao will be sworn in on June 2 at 12.57 pm at Raj Bhavan. Rao, who is a staunch believer in astrology, numerology and Vasthu, is learnt to have fixed this timing on the advice of experts to suit his lucky number 'six'. Though the TRS is maintaining silence on the number of ministers who would take oath along with Rao on June 2, sources indicate that 15 MLAs including KCR would be sworn-in as ministers to match his lucky number six.

Soon after his astrologers fixed the time for his oath, Rao on Friday evening called on the Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here. It is learnt that during his 45-minute-long meeting with the Governor, Chandrasekhar Rao informed him about the date and timing of his oath-taking. The TRS chief is also understood to have submitted a list of the candidates who would take oath along with him. It is learnt that KCR has zeroed in on about 14 names including two Deputy CMs. According to sources, Mehmood Ali from minority quota and Koppula Eshwar under Dalit quota are being considered for the Deputy Chief Minister post.

Those who are likely to be sworn in as ministers are Etela Rajender-Finance, Jupally Krishna Rao-Civil Supplies, Swamy Goud or Srinivas Goud-Labour and employment, Pocharam Srinivas Reddy-Rural Development, Jagdishwar Reddy, Panchayatraj, N Narsimha Reddy-Home, KT Rama Rao, IT and major Industries, Padmadevender Reddy or Konda Surekha-Women and child development. Mulug MLA Chandulal is likely to be the first Speaker of Telangana Assembly.
