Generosity of RTC employees adds 12 new buses in its inventory

Hyderabad: Long-gone is the time wherein people used to have concern for the well being of their organisation. But, the doors for the same haven’t been closed fully. This incident gives the evidence for the same. APSRTC employees have sacrificed their one day salary for the month of May. The money thus collected in this way has amounted to Rs 4.5cr. This huge amount has been spent for the procurement of 12 Palle Velugu buses.

This initiative was taken by Purnachander Rao, the Managing Director of APSRTC. He inspired all the employees and pacified them for the same. Of these 12 buses procured through the salary of the employees, 6 buses have been allocated to Telangana and 6 buses have been allotted to Seemandhra. From these allotments, each zone will have one bus each. The buses have been specially marked as the buses procured from the donations of RTC employees. To this extent an endorsement has been made on the buses in Telugu as ‘ఆర్టీసీ సిబ్బంది విరాళాలతో కొన్న బస్సు’.
