Hyderabad: If the buzz is to be believed, P. Narayana, the Chairman of Narayana Educational Institutions, is all set to become one of the Deputy Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh. It is evident that Chandrababu Naidu at a previous instant has announced that he would appoint two Deputy Chief Ministers for Andhra Pradesh.

According to sources, it is finalised that P. Narayana would be one of the Deputy Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh. Nevertheless, this close ally of Narayana is not a member of any house of the state, as of now.
Narayana has taken over the responsibility of the North Andhra districts during the election campaigning. Nevertheless, he didn’t contest the polls. If a member attains the portfolio of a minister in the state cabinet, he should become the member of any house within a period of 6 months from the date of attaining the post. So, it is likely that Narayana would be elected as MLC either in governor’s quota or the local body quota.
