Hyderabad: Dr Rajiv Sharma, a 1982 batch IAS officer and IYR Krishna Rao, senior IAS officer of 1979 batch will Chief Secretaries of the successor States -- Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh -- respectively. On repatriation to the cadre from Central deputation, Rajiv Sharma shall officiate as Chief Secretary to the Government for the State of Telangana, until further orders, according to GO MS NO G.O.Rt.No. 2345 issued on (June 1, 2014) Sunday.

Hyderabad: IYR Krishna Rao Takes Over as AP Chief Secretaries

IYR Krishna Rao, who is presently serving as the Chief Commissioner of Land administration and Special Chief Secretary, will officiate as Chief Secretary to Government for the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh until further orders. An order (G.O.Rt.No. 2344 Dated June 1, 2014) was issued to this effect on Sunday. This officiating arrangement was ordered with effect from Appointed Day, June 2, for formation of Telangana State. The Chief Minister-designate of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu had already indicated that IYR Krishna Rao would be the first Chief Secretary of the residuary State.
