Howrah Express derails at Kuppam

Hyderabad: Late on Tuesday, at Kuppam Railway Station in Chittoor district, the Howrah Express got derailed. No passenger has sustained any injuries in this incident, gracefully. The Howrah Express, which was on its way for Howrah from Bengaluru got diverted to another track near Kuppam Railway Station at 10.30 in the night.

In this incident, including the engine, four other bogies have rammed into mud. The Engine Driver, who realised the fact timely, stopped the engine to avert a major accident. Otherwise, the train could have fallen from a height of 10 feet from the bridge on the road leading to Krishnagiri. Many trains got delayed due to this incident.
