Hyderabad: Soumya Mishra takes over as Telangana Home Secretary, Soumya Mishra, a 1994-batch IPS officer, took charge as the Special Home Secretary of Telangana State at the Secretariat here on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: Soumya Mishra, a 1994-batch IPS officer, took charge as the Special Home Secretary of Telangana State at the Secretariat here on Wednesday. Prior to the current assignment, she worked as IGP (Welfare).
Mishra had earlier worked as IGP (Law and Order), DIG of Visakhapatnam, Assistant Commissioner of Police in Vijayawada, Additional SP (Administration) in Karimnagar district. She also served for sometime as the DCP (Crimes) at Cyberabad. Speaking to media persons, Mishra said that she would prioritise activities as the time and situations demand.
