Tirupathi: The tenure of Dollar Sheshadri has been increased further by two years. He has been holding the post of Officer on Special Duty for last 8 years on a contract basis. This issue of continuing him in the special role despite he has been retired from his services long before has been contentious as well. There are many opinions that there were so many eligible candidates seeking the prestigious post, if he quits from the same.
Mr. Sheshadri got a clean chit despite he faced many allegations in the missing golden dollars case of Swamy Venkateshwara, in the past. Already he had once managed to get his tenure extended, even before this recent extension.
