Hyderabad: Many villages along the banks of Krishna and Tungabhadra Rivers have received flood alert going on with the heavy inflow of water from Karnataka. The heavy inflow of water is continuing due to nonstop rains in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Reportedly, officials have set up a control room in Kurnool to provide information about water level in the rivers and threat of flood to villages.

Srisailam attains water level:

It is expected that the Srisailam will be full in the next three days if the heavy inflow of water continues from the upper area. The water level was 870ft on Saturday and increased by 6 feet to attain the latest level of 877ft as of now while the highest level of the dam is 885ft. The inflow of water is at 1,66,678 cusecs while the outflow is 80,796 cusecs.
