Kurnool: A unanimous decision on the Andhra Pradesh State capital should be taken without causing any discord among the people, said CPI (M) Politburo member B V Raghavulu here on Tuesday. He was talking to the media after taking part in a debate on ‘Navyandhra Pradesh, Kurnool development’.
The CPI (M) leader welcomed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s decision to take part in the Independence Day celebrations in the town. He wanted Naidu to announce a decision on the State capital during his I-Day address. Raghavulu demanded a special package for Kurnool, as it was a backward area in Rayalaseema, which itself was lagging behind in development.
