The water level at the reservoir has touched 881.40 ft as against its full reservoir capacity of 885 ft. The water level has been rising at the reservoir by hour with 46,508 cusecs of water from Jurala project and 43,790 cusecs from Tungabhadra project reaching the reservoir.

In all 90,298 cusecs of water has been reaching the Srisailam Reservoir from upstream projects. The maximum storage capacity of the reservoir is 215 tmc. So far, water storage capacity has reached 199.66 tmc.

As per the load dispatch instructions, the power is being generated during peak load hours at the right branch canal hydel project. Using a single generator110 MW power is generated on the right branch hydel project releasing 88,103 cusecs water to the downstream Nagarjuna Sagar project. During the last 24 hours, 36,796 million units were generated from this hydel project.
