Hyderabad: Acrimony was replaced by goodwill, recent bitterness gave way to good humour and it could be termed as a beginning of a new chapter in the history of Telugus, felt the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

KCR, who is a staunch believer in astrology and numerology, is learnt to have given some suggestions to his AP counterpart with regard to locating the new capital of the reorganised State as per Vastu.

KCR told Naidu at Raj Bhavan that it would be better to set up the capital at a place in between Mangalagiri and Amaravathi in Guntur district. As the river Krishna is flowing at this place, setting up the new capital would be appropriate as per vastu, KCR told Naidu. When asked about the TS CM's advise on the new capital, Naidu replied, "What is wrong in taking the advice of KCR over locating the new capital as per Vastu. He is also a Telugu".

"KCR is not new to me. I know him since 1984. He is my old friend and was a Cabinet colleague. We both worked together in the TDP. If necessary we will meet three to four times to sort out the issues," Naidu added.

He said, if we give more scope for confrontation, most of our time will be wasted for that and we won't find time for development. Henceforth, we decided to sit across the table to resolve the issues and jointly put pressure on the Centre to do justice to the two Telugu States.

“In politics leaders criticise each other on certain issues. On some occasions they even take different stands. But, when it comes to people' issues they have to cooperate with each other,” he added.
