TDP in dilemma over status rise as national party?

The Telugu Desam Politburo has decided to set up a committee for elevating the status of the party to that of a national party. The team will study all the necessary things like the mandatory QRs to raise the party’s level. They politburo has discussed various matter concerning the matter that in order for a political party to emerge as a national party, it should have at least 6% votes in four states.

The topic concerning AIADMK Party that got established in two states, even though it is not a national party as such, was also come for discussion, reportedly. Also, the matter of common symbol of cycle in either Telugu state – Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, has also come for discussion, reportedly. The committee will have Yanamla Ramakrishnudu, Payyavula Keshav, Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy as its members, reportedly. It is learnt that most of the senior leaders in the party cadre have opined that there was a need to get established in prevailing two states strongly, before making an entry in other states.
