Vizianagaram Suffers Loss Due To Hudhud

Due to the havoc created by Hudhud Cyclone Vizianagaram district suffered heavy losses. Many trees were uprooted in the coastal areas. 2 people were pinned under a tree which led them to their deaths. A total of 5 people were killed in this disaster.
Vizianagaram: Due to the havoc created by Hudhud Cyclone Vizianagaram district suffered heavy losses. Many trees were uprooted in the coastal areas. 2 people were pinned under a tree which led them to their deaths. A total of 5 people were killed in this disaster.
Nearly 9500 trees were uprooted. Crops were lost to the wind in around 12000 acres. Rice, sugar cane, Banana fields were completely destroyed. 650 homes were flooded and damaged.
The electricity was halted completely, communication systems were damaged, and the daily commodities were not available for the common people.
