YSR Congress party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met the fishing community in cyclone-ravaged parts of Andhra Pradesh yesterday. After the fishermen poured their heart out to Jagan, the YSRCP president who heard them out called for financial aid from the Andhra Pradesh government.

Fishermen in the coastal region are worst hit by the cyclone as 400 boats have been damaged while 600 boats are missing.
YS Jagan said: "The AP govt must beat the repaid costs of the damaged boatd and announe an ex-gratia of Rs 20k per family."
He also sought Rs 50,000 compensation for those affected by cyclone Hudhud.
