Chandrababu's AP capital city jinxed?

Well, we are not saying this. But going by the blows that Andhra Pradesh has received over the last couple of weeks, it looks like these may be trying times for the AP state head and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu.

Chandrababu was so ambitious and enthusiastic about developing his capital city on the lines of Singapore. He even set up a team to study model cities and draw the best for the capital city of his state. However, now it all seems like a distant dream. Wonder why?

Well, for starters Chandrababu announced that the capital city would be somewhere near Guntur-vijayawada. And he received news of Tier-2 city Visakhapatnam being devastated by Cyclone Hudhud. As if this was not enough Guntur experienced tremors yesterday.

So Chandrababu has the herculean task of first reconstructing battered Vizag to its former glory and then start work on Guntur. There's also every likelihood of the AP CM changing his decision to make Guntur the capital city as he has to ensure the city is a safe bet.It now remains to be seen how Chandrababu will handle the situation.
