Visakhapatnam: Bestowed with rich natural beauty, Lambasingi, attracts tourists from all over to experience its chill climatic conditions. Aware of the huge potential of this tourists’ haven, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is keen to create Kashmir in Andhra Pradesh. Adventurists, nature lovers and tourists visit Lambasingi throughout the year to experience the cool climatic conditions, which is located at 1,000 metres above sea level on the Eastern Ghats.

  • Lambasingi has unique climatic conditions all through the year
  • Plans on for butterfly park in Paderu

Unlike Araku Valley, which has adequate facilities, Lambasingi has very little to offer to tourists. Soon the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) will provide a string of facilities to holidaymakers at Lambasingi, which is also known as Korra Bayalu. The Eastern Ghats valley is 100 km from Vizag, which could become a big hit among tourists from other states visiting the City of Destination. This could offer a weekend vacation for such tourists.

The unique feature of this valley is the greenery with coffee and pepper plantation which could offer as good locale for film shootings. “Lambasingi always found to be wrapped in foggy climate attracts nature lovers like me. But there are not enough facilities for us to stay for a day or two. Efforts need to be taken to make it a good hill station like Araku Valley,” said a tourist Karthik.
