He is working as a site engineer with a construction company in Bayelsa State, in south of Nigeria in the Niger delta region.

Tanguturi Srinivasa RaoRao has been kidnapped along with two colleagues from his office. The two from Pakistan were his room-mates. The Nigerian police are yet to trace him, as also reveal the kidnapper’s identity. His father, Seshaiah, is a farmer in Chintalapudi village. The engineer last visited his village on October 7 and subsequently got engaged in Guntur. He returned to Nigeria on October 30. His friends gave information to the parents and relatives in Chintalapudi.

Seshaiah said here on Wednesday that his son used to talk to him daily. The last telephone call he made was on November 27. Seshaiah and wife Nagamani appealed to the Government of India to use its good offices to ensure that the abductors release Rao unharmed.
