Chilakaluripet (Guntur): Arrangements are in full swing for the wedding of Swathi, daughter of Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao at New Agriculture Market Yard at Chilakaluripet of Guntur district on Sunday.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu, Sujana Chowdary and many other prominent persons will attend the wedding ceremony. Invitations were sent to the TDP workers in all the 53 villages of Chilakaluripet Assembly constituency. The party cadres and activists are voluntarily participating in the marriage arrangements. It is expected that 70,000 to one lakh guests will attend the ceremony. The party workers constituted groups and were overseeing arrangements for the past one week.

Speaking to The Hans India on Thursday, former ZP chairman Paturi Nagabhushanam appealed to all the people in the constituency to attend the marriage which is being held on a grand note after the bifurcation of the State and to bless the newly-wed couple.

It may be noted that Paturi Nagabhushanam worked as ZP chairman for ten years and he had contacts with people from all walks of life. That is the reason the minister deputed Nagabhushanam to look after the arrangements for the event.

Massive pandal
Noted art director Chinna along with 300 artistes constructed a massive marriage pandal. Chinna worked for Nagavalli, Desamuduru, Chirutha, Aadi, Andhrawala, Kandireega, Yamaleela-2, Businessman, Pokiri and many other hit movies. The pandal is of 250 feet length and 140 feet breadth. Thousands of people are visiting the venue daily to look the pandal.
