Students come forward for Hudhud relief

Visakhapatnam: The students of GITAM University have taken an oath to donate a part of the funds collected from GITAM Excellence Meet towards Cyclone Hudhud affected Vizag’s relief fund. The 16th GITAM Excellence Meet (GEM – 2014) will be conducted on December 12 and 13. This youth fest is conducted every year by the GITAM Institute of Management, GITAM University. This year, the event will be completely organised by students with peripheral guidance from the faculty. For the promotion of the event, the cultural and marketing departments of the GEM – 2014 have held two flash mobs; one in the GITAM University and one in the CMR Central shopping mall of Visakhapatnam. The event had a great response from the viewers and the audience.
