Make energy conservation a habit: Collector, East Godavari District Collector Neethu Prasad has called upon the people to cultivate habit of saving power.
LED lights to be installed in Kakinada, Rajahmundry
Kakinada: East Godavari District Collector Neethu Prasad has called upon the people to cultivate habit of saving power. She flagged off an energy conservation awareness rally here on Monday. Electricity employees organised the rally as part of the ongoing Electricity Conservation Week celebrations.
The Collector released a poster and pamphlets on energy conservation and use of renewable energy sources. She exhorted the public to save the electricity and use solar and other renewable sources of energy.
Neethu Prasad announced that LED lights would be installed in Kakinada and Rajahmundry.
She directed the officials to install LED lights in hospitals, hostels and other government institutions. She said that MNCs help would be sought for installing LED lights in rural areas. The rally passed through government hospital, Balaji Cheruvu and ended Transco DE Office. AP Transco SE N Gangadhar, Kakinada DE B Rajeswari, NEDCAP DM Nani Babu and others officials were present.
