Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government will launch Mee Kosam, an online grievance monitoring system, on January 15. This portal will help people check the status of their grievances/representations by entering their Aadhaar number or the grievance number.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who reviewed the IT department on Wednesday said AP’s Sunrise Start-ups programme would begin by March 2015. He was informed by IT Advisor J Satyanarayana that incubation centres in Kakinada and Tirupati were ready to begin operations.
The tech-savvy Chief Minister said his government would hold digital literacy camps in Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, West Godavari and Srikakulam districts. Technical experts would train the officials, he said, adding that first phase of this project would be completed by March.
Stating that the Centre sought clarification on certain issues related to Visakhapatnam ITIR project, the Chief Minister asked the IT Advisor to clear Centre’s doubts and ensure that the project got necessary approvals immediately. The Chief Minister also said he would lay foundation stone for Signature Tower (which will be a symbol of resurgence of IT in Andhra Pradesh) in Madhurawada in Vizag by March. He asked the IT department to design a plan to bring in country’s first ‘Right to Good Governance Act’.
The Chief Minister directed the IT department officials to distribute 10,000 tablets among village-level officers immediately so that they could collect data on public welfare schemes and key indicators and upload them online.
IT Advisor J Satyanarayana, IT secretary Kona Shashidhar, Principal Secretaries to CM Ajay Sawhney, Satish Chandra and others were present.
