P Laxminarasimham directed the endowments, revenue and municipal officials to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the development of Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple at Arasavalli.The Collector, along with the officials, inspected the temple premises on Thursday and collected information from the staff members on maintenance of queue lines, prasadam counters, ticket sales and sanitation works at Indrapushkarini (holy pond).

On the occasion, he said the government was planning to develop historical and unique temples as tourist, spiritual and pilgrim centres. “We have decided to develop Arasavalli temple as part of it,” he said. The Collector asked the municipal, revenue and temple officials to prepare detailed plans with estimates for widening of roads, queue lines, prasadam, ticket counters, compound wall around the temple and supporting wall around the holy pond. Joint Collector Vivek Yadav and municipal officials accompanied the Collector.
