Tamil Nadu Govt upset over the encounter in Chittoor District

Tamil Nadu government and political parties have expressed their displeasure and anger over the death of 20 persons in a major encounter that took place on Tuesday between red sanders smugglers and the special task force personnel in Seshachalam forests of Chittoor district.

Slamming the encounter, Paneerselvam, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Vaiko, opposition party leader demanded an immediate inquiry into the incident.

According to the reports, most of those who were killed are said to be labourers. Meanwhile, panic has spread over the Telugu Speaking states and Chennai over the possibility of more attacks. Tamil Nadu police in this connection have strengthened security in localities.
