Slamming the encounter, Paneerselvam, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Vaiko, opposition party leader demanded an immediate inquiry into the incident.


According to the reports, most of those who were killed are said to be labourers. Meanwhile, panic has spread over the Telugu Speaking states and Chennai over the possibility of more attacks. Tamil Nadu police in this connection have strengthened security in localities.
