The Union Planning Minister Inderjit Singh said in a written reply to two TDP MPs Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and Maganti Babu that there was no proposal for a special status to AP pending with the Centre.
He said centre would help both the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state to the maximum and the proposals of the last finance commission along with the 42 % devolvement of central funds would go a long way in resource mobilization for new states.
