Centre directs inquiry in Chandrababu phone tapping

Amongst all the chaos over the alleged phone tapping of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the Central Government reacted and directed a department-level inquiry by the officials into the issue.

However, it is no clarity provided over the department-level inquiry to be conducted by the Department of Telecommunications or the Home Ministry.

Chandrababu in his allegations had stated that along with his phone, the telephone connections of 120 TDP leaders were tapped by the Telangana government for which he even added that enough proofs are also present to back his statement.
